It’s always heartbreaking to see animals in pain, and Sharon felt the same way. One day, a distressed creature appeared near her California home.
Sharon quickly went outside to help the animal that looked like a dog at first glance.
However, upon closer inspection, she realized that it was not a dog seeking aid; it was something entirely different.
When Sharon identified the creature as a coyote and not a dog, she took immediate action. She secured the animal in a cage and reached out to an animal organization for assistance. Urgently, a vet was dispatched to assess the situation, as reported by ABC 10 News.
As Sharon examined the emaciated coyote closely, she was shocked by its condition. The animal was so malnourished that its coyote features were hardly recognizable.
ABC 10 states that specialists at an animal clinic provided treatment and care for the coyote, which was later named Princess. The coyote responded well to the care and nourishment, gradually recovering.
After a period of recuperation at the animal shelter, Princess regained her strength and was released back into the wild, her natural habitat, thanks to the quick response and compassion of Sharon.
Witnessing animal suffering is difficult, but with a stroke of luck and the kindness of dedicated animal advocates, Princess was able to make a full recovery!
